Benard Nyeko

Benard Nyeko is a Ugandan-based Christian singer-songwriter best known for his vocal prowess and finger-picking guitar style. He uses music as an avenue to reach the people with the message of the gospel. Upon joining his local church choir in 2017, he picked up the guitar and started out to create music which has become his signature style. Though his primary music genre is RnB, he equally draws notable influence from Urban Pop and Trap music. He is an alumni member of the US Embassy-sponsored YesUganda Academy that equips musicians and artists in songwriting and playing instruments. He is set to release his debut single “Guti Na” in early March. In 2020, he featured on Gulu-based Mega 100 FM and Favour FM radio stations where he shared his musical background and aspirations. During the 2020 global Covid-19 pandemic, he founded Sounds of Worship, an online platform that employs singing as a ministry tool to reach out to a wider global audience.
